Time to dive again in the tales that gave an additional taste to our childhood. So many come to mind.
The 3 little pigs for instance. We could discuss in light of the crisis whose house was made in straws, in stocks or in bricks ?
Some had little choice but to build their house in straws and sticks. Some made a deliberate decision to be « quick and dirty » and build poorly.
Truth is that despite its kids favor this tale says so much about so many habits we have individually and collectively.
Notwithstanding the fact that there are several big bad wolfs around threatening us: the virus of course, the economic collapse , hunger, populism, disinformation....
Now is the time of urgency : we have to make sure we can bring all of our human brothers and sisters under a brick roof even if it is a temporary one.
But we also have to think long term and make sure that whatever we build is made of bricks. And that we build for all. A solid equitable sustainable and healthy planetary village. To keep our wolves at bay. And enjoy the little pigs !
